There are many people who have envisioned a bifurcation of Earth into two Earths, two timelines, two realities.

All earthly life forms result from “a splitting.” A mammalian cell undergoes mitosis to reproduce itself. An amoeba uses binary fission and sporulation. Some reptiles reproduce asexually, known as parthenogensis. Mushrooms use both sexual and asexual reproduction. In every case, there is a separation of one body into two or more bodies. In this realm, bifurcation appears to be the nature of evolution, both for Earth and for humanity.
A splitting of the physical Earth into two land masses seems unlikely. However, NASA Earth Scientists have identified a weakness in Earth’s magnetic field they call, “The South Atlantic Anomaly” (SAA), which they claim has created a physical split in Earth that will affect satellites and electronics.

What seems more likely is the bifurcation of human consciousness alongside a splitting Earth consciousness?.

Humanity has reached a crossroads on levels both physical and spiritual. Could the direction of human evolution (or devolution) depend upon the soul work that each individual has accomplished thus far vs. the collective? And could this difference be explained through Awakening?
Any awakening from a deep slumber is not for the faint of heart. Anything worthwhile is not easy. It takes discernment, desire and the will for transformation.

A split naturally happens from pressure building up, not just of magnetic fields, but also due to changing laws, beliefs, and ways of being. As pressure increases, so, too, does the pressure to change. Bifurcations in religion are common throughout history. The Great Schism of 1054 marked the first major split in the history of Christianity, separating the Orthodox Church in the East from the Roman Catholic Church in the West. Little schisms followed.
Today, faced with bodily threats, censorship, coercion, and restrictions on freedom, people are pushed more than ever to awaken spiritually. Awakening happens when a greatness is felt within that cannot be contained. As with a ripple in a pond, a shift of divinity ripples through human consciousness. So why not with Earth, which is alive and conscious?
In any splitting, two paths exist. Neither path is good or bad. Each is based on personal spiritual alignment and the soul work accomplished. For instance, if personal sovereignty is important, you will naturally choose one path, or timeline, over another.
The vision of the human being is confined today to the physical body. One regards this as a reality; one cannot raise oneself to what is spiritual. The souls who now look upon their own physical bodies with their eyes, and are unable to rise to what is spiritual, were incarnated among earlier peoples as Greeks, as Romans, and as ancient Egyptians. – Rudolf Steiner

What do these two paths offer if not a polarization through contrasting qualities? This makes the paths clearer to discern. Each path is approached using free will. Both are part of a collective.

Many of the Hopi People believe that humanity is undergoing a transition between world-ages, moving into the beginning of what they call the Fifth World. This is a time of peace for humanity and harmony with Nature. This transition moves toward the possibility of a rebirth and regeneration of humanity, rather than annihilation and desolation.
Everyone has a choice. One path ignites responsibility, more than the other. One path nourishes the spirit more than the other. One path recognizes love more than the other. Lack of nourishment for the spirit causes anxiety, depression, and mental illness. Note today’s Opioid Epidemic resulting from attempts to satisfy those who are spiritually starved with synthetic solutions. Rudolf Steiner warned about the possible imbalances that can occur between the three soul-forces: thinking, feeling, and willing:
These are the three ways of error into which the student can stray: (1) exuberant violence of will, (2) sentimental emotionalism, and (3) cold, loveless striving for wisdom. For outward observation, and also from the ordinary (materialistic) medical standpoint, anyone thus gone astray is hardly distinguishable (especially in degree) from an insane or, at least, a highly neurasthenic person.
That is why it is so essential that the waking life of the student should be in every respect regular and healthy. The more capable he is of meeting the demands made by the outer world upon a healthy, sound constitution of body, soul, and spirit, the better it is for him.
He must seek to find everything corresponding to his powers and faculties which can lead him into undisturbed, harmonious communion with his surroundings, while avoiding everything detrimental to this harmony—everything that brings unrest and feverish haste into his life.
Each person is at a different level in life, in consciousness, and in the cosmos. Wherever that is, it is based on discernment, choice, and free will.

Interesting about the noun, “bifurcation,” which is pertinent to the good doctor’s article. Splitting into two parts, such as positive and negative, day and night, low tides and high tides, and it IS growth and death (CHANGE – from one form to another) in all things in and of the Universe.
Look at the state of the world or rather the People now living. How many think critically on the constant propaganda slanted towards the whims and desires of the rich and powerful and question what they hear, see, or read about, especially as the Imperial States of America are willing to engage in a nuclear war which they think is winnable? The money and resources of all kinds spent on this kind of bifurcated thinking?Too many of our fellow citizens go along with the conditioning by the ruling-class. The recent “Covid 19 “scamdemic” kept most people complacent and obedient., and some family members and friends turning on one another over the “jabs” in the arm.
The Persian Master, Zarathustra, said it well, in 6 (translated words), which if followed, would be an addition to Steiner’s philosophy, The Buddha’s, the Christ’s and every other Spiritual Teacher and Philosopher and those who, though unknown, practice the Golden Rule as best as they can.
The 6 Words are:
1. Good Thoughts – as every action initiated originated from a Thought.
2. Good Words – Kind and helpful words to our fellow beings.
3. Good Deeds – “By their works, shall ye know them.” You know the old saying – “Action speaks louder than words.”
As for slow learning Frank, I’m still trying to get the First One down pat. It ain’t easy (for me), but I usually bypass Number 2 and have a decent record in following Number 3, most of the time.
